We're pleased to announce that we have just released an important enhancement to the Privacy Policy component to support compliance with the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025. Available to all customers.
What's new?
Under the new legislation, organisations must:
Inform individuals of their right to make a complaint.
Explain that complaints may be made either directly to the organisation or to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
Include this information within their privacy policy.
Provide an electronic method for submitting complaints.
To support these requirements, we have updated the Privacy Policy component to include:
New complaint-related wording within the privacy policy.
An online complaints form for website visitors.
A mandatory identity verification document upload field, in line with ICO guidance that organisations may verify the identity of complainants before responding.
Why is this valuable?
You can meet your statutory obligations with minimal effort, while complaint submissions are directed to the correct contact and protected against low-quality or automated submissions.
