BlueMail for Android and iOS changed how people manage their email on their mobile devices and is now bringing the same robust features, immense customization possibilities, and user-friendly design to the desktop. BlueMail for desktop provides a more powerful fully featured experience than the traditional webmail client, and you’ll never look at your inbox the same way again.
Before following the below step by step guide, please find the email sent to you which contains your email settings.
Step by Step Guide
If you don't already have an account added to BlueMail, when you download and start it, you will see the following:
Click Continue.
If you added an account already and need to add another, click the Settings Cog on the top right and then under Account Settings click Add new.
The Next screen will ask you to Add Account - please click Manual Setup
Then again click Manual Setup
Choose IMAP
Please enter the following information exactly as shown replacing the Email Address and Username with your Email address.
Incoming Server
Email Address: [the email address you are adding]
Username: [the email address you are adding]
Password: [your email address password]
IMAP Server: zimbra.protectedservice.net
Security: SSL/TLS
Authentication method: Plain
Port: 993
Click Next
Outgoing Server
Username: [the email address you are adding]
Password: [your email address password]
SMTP Server: smtp.protectedservice.net
Connection Security: STARTTLS
Authentication: Automatic
Port: 587
you can untick Require Sign-in
When you are sure these are correct, click Next
It will authenticate the connection and pop up saying You're Almost Done! At this point you can select a name for the account, description and a colour theme.
Then you just need to choose a layout style, and click Done.
