The Clover payment option lets customers pay you using a credit card or debit card. Clover (previously known as First Data) offer their service through a number of partner gateways, including Authipay and Lloyds Bank Cardnet, and you can use any of these gateways to take payments.

Setting up Clover in your shop

You can set up Clover payment by clicking Payment in the shop admin panel menu, clicking Clover, and changing the following settings:

Status

Whether Clover is available as a payment method.

Gateway

The Clover partner gateway you are using.

Store number

Your store number (sometimes called ‘store ID’). This will be supplied by the Clover partner.

Shared secret

This is a secret value used to ensure the security of communications with Clover. This will be supplied by the Clover partner.
