The multimedia component, whose option icon is shown in figure 1, embeds a video, audio clip, or presentation, from sites such as YouTube, SoundCloud, and Slideshare.

Choosing a multimedia file
After adding in a multimedia component, click anywhere on it to display the multimedia address window, as shown in figure 2.

Paste in the address of the multimedia file you want to embed, and click OK.
Changing multimedia settings
After you have chosen a multimedia file, or if you are editing an existing multimedia component, the multimedia window will be displayed, as shown in figure 3.

The multimedia window includes up to four groups of settings. Different settings will be supported by different multimedia files.
Address
The address of the multimedia file. Click on the address to open the multimedia address window to choose another file.
Play
Whether to play when clicked/tapped, autoplay once, autoplay in a loop, or autoplay in a loop without controls. Note that autoplaying files will be muted as modern browsers do not allow files with sound to autoplay. Different multimedia files support different play settings, and this setting is not shown if the file does not support autoplay.
Features
Features that can be turned on or off. The features supported by different multimedia files are described below.
Colour
The colour used for the player controls. Only some multimedia files support this setting.
Click OK to apply the changes to the multimedia file. Click Cancel to return to the page without changing the multimedia file.
YouTube player features
The YouTube player supports the following features:
Show title
Whether the video title is shown.
Show subtitles/captions
Whether subtitles/captions are shown automatically if available.
Vimeo player features
The Vimeo player supports the following features:
Show title
Whether the video title is shown.
Show publisher’s name
Whether the video publisher’s name is shown.
Show publisher’s profile image
Whether the video publisher’s profile image is shown.
Dailymotion player features
The Dailymotion player supports the following features:
Show title
Whether the video title is shown.
SoundCloud player features
The SoundCloud player supports the following features:
Show publisher’s name
Whether the audio clip publisher’s name is shown.
Show artwork
Whether the image associated with the audio clip is shown.
