The anchor component, whose option icon is shown in figure 1, gives a name to a location on the page so you can link directly to it.
A common use for anchors is a Frequenty Asked Questions page: the page starts with a list of questions, and clicking on one of these takes you down to the part of the page containing the answer.
Editing an anchor
In edit mode each anchor component shows as an anchor bar, as shown in figure 2.
Click on the anchor bar to open the anchor window, as shown in figure 3.
The anchor window lets you give the anchor a name. This name must start with letter, and may contain letters, numbers, hyphens, underscores, colons, and periods.
Click OK to save the name of the anchor. Click Cancel to return to the page without changing the name of the anchor.
Linking to an anchor
You can link to an anchor using the Anchors tab of the link window.
