When viewing statistics, the Page views report shows graphs of page views over time, as shown in figure 1. A page view is an instance of a visitor looking at a page on your site. Each visit to your site consists of at least one page view.
The upper graph initially shows the page views for the past month. The lower graph shows the page views for the past year, with the lighter grey background highlighting the time period shown in the upper graph. Click and drag on the lower graph to change the time period.
The fields above the graph let you change the pages whose page views are shown, and whether the page view data is grouped by day, week, or month.
