The comments component, whose option icon is shown in figure 1, creates a comments form
New comments are passed through a spam checker, and if the comment does not appear to be spam it is marked as pending and you are notified about it. The Comments panel lets you approve pending comments, which are then displayed on the site, as shown in figure 2.
Editing a comments component
Click on the comments component to open the comments window, as shown in figure 3.
The comments window lets you change the following settings:
E-mail address
An e-mail address (or multiple e-mail addresses separated by commas) to notify when a comment is submitted. If this field is left blank then notification e-mails will not be sent.
Comment order
Whether to show the newest or oldest comments first.
Number per page
The number of comments to show per page. When there are a large number of comments they are shown across multiple pages, with links to the other pages above and below the comments.
Form location
Whether the form to submit a new comment is shown above or below the existing comments.
Click OK to apply the changes to the comments component. Click Cancel to return to the page without changing the comments component.
Moderating comments
You can moderate comments using the Comments panel.
